In our 11th episode, Daniel and Christian are trying to install the Toyoto engine in the BMW Z4 body. Since the 2JZ.GTE engine was mounted on completely different points on the body of the former Toyota Aristo, the two technology freaks must build their own engine and gearbox Suspension.

The engine must first be centred using joint forces. Only then, the custom-made engine suspension can be tackled.

Each metal piece of the suspension must be worked on. Be it welding, cutting or bending, the two are performing true precision work.

Christian and Daniel have attached great importance to building the engine suspension as solidly as possible. As Christian, in addition to rebuilding our DD2.JZ, is responsible for the rim designs of the Dotz brand, he has also paid attention to the visual component of this construction. The final result is not only practicable but also really nice to look at.

The last work step on this arduous day comprises attaching the six-gear transmission to the BMW Z4 body. In this case as well the entire suspension system is custom-built.
