DOTZ Bilsport Drift Challange

Not long ago stars from USA's Formula D series like MadMike and Fredric Asbo met at the Gatebil event to compete with big names from Europe. The drivers from Europe’s north fascinated with high-powered engines and amazing conversion. Speedhunters putted it into a nutshell: "800HP is the new black".
For sure the one or the other drifter will meet each other again at the 4th of August at the Dotz Bilsport Drift Challenge in Linköping, Sweden. In cooperation with the renominated Bilsport Magazine our Swedish Dotz daughter OCL Brorrsons organizes a drift event in two classes. International pros will compete against the best Swedish drifters in the "Pro Int" class. About 20 drivers are expected. Dotz Teamrider Stian Jacobsen with his Nissan Silvia S14 and Kristoffer Eliassen, both from Norway, will be two of them. 5000 Euros price money are waiting for the best drivers. Rookies and drivers of less powered cars will find the right competitors in the "Modified" class.
Beside the drifters another highlight will be the official Pacecar, a BMW M1 Coupe with 19" Dotz Fast Seven. Equipped with a sporty RL Bodykit, BMW M Performance parts and KW suspensions this BMW is definitely an eye catcher. The engine performance was increased from 353HP to 452HP.
