|DTM stars turn the Olympic Stadium into a motorsport arena
Following the successful debut last year, the German Touring Car Masters DTM stops again at the Olympic Stadium in Munich, Germany, for a big show event. To exceed the crowd's expectations, the attractiveness of this year's edition has even increased with two 614 meter (2012 feet) long mirrored tracks.
On July 14th and 15th, the best drivers of premium car-manufacturers Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz fight for the victory in enthralling head-to-head battles.
On Saturday, a two-man winning team will be determined after relay races, starting with two teams from every manufacturer, making six teams altogether. From quarterfinals to the final round, two teams will compete against each other with one driver on one of the tracks and the other one waiting in the pit lane, where the exchange will be performed.
On Sunday, the drivers will compete head to head in five runs, with the finals being held in two heats and a change of the track after the first run.
Thanks to the new layout with the mirrored tracks and only two racers on the short circuits at once, the motor sport enthusiasts can follow the race action perfectly. The spectators don't miss a thing, when the DTM aces take their racing cars to their limits while battling for the victory.
Apart from the races, the Red Bull X Fighters will amaze the spectators with their tricks and a spectacular drift show will entertain the crowd with burning rubber.
