Dotz Teamrider Rupert Schachinger returns with a second place

Close to 60 drifters met in Lang-Lebring, Styria, last weekend to compete in the third run of the Drift Challenge Austria powered by Dotz Tuning Wheels.
After two bad runs in the preceding competitions due to technical problems, Dotz teamrider Rupert Schachinger impressed again with a 2nd place in category R1. He is now ranked 3rd in this class, while in the overall standing in the touring cars category he ascended to 11th place.

Alois Pamper from TIBA-Racing-Team once again took the victory with his touring car, followed by Günter Denk (Denk Motorsport) and Michael Blümel (Schmalzl-Racing), whereas Thomas Graf from LERU Team 2 won in the category street cars ahead of Wolfgang Schmid (Team More Bottle Than Throttle) and Martin Simon (Schmalzl-Racing).

After a longer break in July, the Drift Challenge Austria will proceed in Teesdorf, Lower Austria in August, followed by the season finale on the Wachauring in Melk on September 2nd.
