For the 31st time last weekend Lake Wörthersee dipped into a mixture smell of beer, sausages and burnt rubber. Reason: The GTI meeting in the Carinthian town of Reifnitz.


Around 150,000 fans of the Gran Turismo Injection gathered at the Lake Wörthersee to pay homage to chrome plate and tuned engines at the 31st GTI Meeting in Carinthia. As in previous years Dotz has again brought his party tent to Reifnitz. In addition to cars and girls there were waiting sun chairs and cool music to chill out.


For a real eye-catcher airbrusher and Dotz teamrider Peter Riedel decorated girls the whole weekend with Dotz logos and other stuff.


A few of them like the Dotz Promo girls from the GTI meeting went to enoble a T3 Volkswagen Transporter. Also present: a set of 21" Dotz Territory dark.


Cars were also the main characters at the Dotz booth itself. One of them was the 2011 Golf GTI from Foliatec with 19” Dotz Fast Seven. Equipped with Eibach springs, Bilstein suspension and engine optimization the Gulf hits the road with around 275HP. Foliatec enveloped the Golf with a white foil and also shine-tinted the windows.


The second star of the two-lane state was the Mazda RX8 of Dotz team drifter Rupert Schachinger. In last year’s Austrian Drift Challenge he achieved the second place in the race category. With body kit, K-Sport springs, Drexler differential and around 400hp Schachinger travels with his Fast Seven Team Edt. Yellow in 18" around the race tracks.


Within the tent the sale of Dotz Clothing went on. The clothing line of the tuning company is now to design individually with the Magic Shirt Box.


Besides Foliatec and Rupert Schachinger there were still more Dotz teamriders with their cars at the Lake. For one the Amarok of Mathias Patra with a 20 "Territory. Daniel Beck brought his Octavia Combi RS with a Fast Seven Drift to Reifnitz. Alexander Koch presented his Polo GTI with 200hp and a Dotz Fast Seven and Jörg Altreuther also came with an Octavia RS and Dotz Fast Seven to the southern shore of Lake Wörthersee.


The VW group for years now makes a huge effort move its brands into the right tuning-light. The huge VW stand right at the site entrance was re-covered with special versions like this "Concept White"-design. The painting in "Oryxwhite matt" forms a contrast with the black and red nappa leather interior.


Also within the VW-baggage: the dynamic fresh air Golf. A 2.0 liter engine infects the convertible with 210HP.


Audi introduced a hot off-roader concept at the GTI meeting. The Q3 R8 will be equipped with a 2.5-liter turbo engine with 360hp. There is wheel house broadening and lowering included - after all the racing Q3 is 265km/h quick.


Seat showed - in addition to the daily party boat trip to the lake - as a European premiere the Ibiza Cupra. 180 horsepower, seven-speed DSG gearbox with shift paddles, XDS electronic differential lock and high-performance brake are planted in the new seat generation.


Skoda has thrown his small car Citigo powerfully into the bowl – with a rallye costume. To the sounds of Star DJs Skoda showed significantly grown width fenders, powerful front and rear aprons and a large roof spoiler. The wheel arches host 18-inch alloy wheels. Under the rear center peeks out a fat exhaust tailpipe. On the roof an air scoop suggests a way to cover a purpose.


Otherwise Lake Wörthersee was loaded with girls, cars and shows.
