Vienna is the Masters of Dirt in ten years become something of a playground where always new jumps and spectacular deposits are shown for the first time. In 2012, the lords of the skies have again outdone themselves.


Each year in cold February Vienna provides a hot Stadthalle with the Masters of Dirt-freestylers. This time particularly "on fire" was Dotz teamrider Remi Bizouard. The two-time FMX world champion from France was responsible for the spectacular backflips of the weekend, including the synchro-somersaults with two snowmobiles. © Martin Reiter


The synchro-style then went on with Heelclickers and Indian Airs. © Martin Reiter


The audience did not come to rest, immediately afterwards the Whip contest was announced. The FMX pros rotate their bikes by 90 degrees and more. © Martin Reiter


On the first two days fan favourite Edgar Torronteras took the victory and aso a voucher for a set of tuning wheels from Masters of Dirt co-sponsor Dotz, then on the third day Libor Podmol caused a sensation. The Czech FMX rider turned his bike by much more than 90 degrees, was so far superior to his colleagues and sought out the Dotz Fast Seven as his new favourite toy. © Martin Reiter/dotzmag


The Vienna Stadthalle however was sold out for the three day schedule with around 8.000 fans each day.

And before the two-wheelers plowed through the sand again after the break, Anna gave away the big prize for a Masters of Dirt-fan. For three days a set of Dotz rims worth 1,500 EUR were given away. © Martin Reiter/dotzmag
