While BMX-pro and Dotz teamrider Mark Koenig is recovering after an injury and slowly turning into contests again, BMX and Dotz fellow Tobias Wicke achieved loads of podium ranks during 2011 season. 
Tobi, entering the saddle more than 20 years ago and racing BMX tracks round Europe for ten years, is considered one of the best technicians on a bike.
His huge trick repertoire scored him some podium ranks this year. A second place at Solothurn Bike Days was followed by a third place at 20 Inch Trophy in Innsbruck. © David Ulrich
In August Tobi had a special month. He won the City Jam in Bielefeld as well as the Chill & Ride in Budapest.
Mark König on the other hand had to do without liptricks, flips and flairs:...
...The Dotz teamrider sustained a serious leg injury last December and had to pause the better part of this season.
This couldn´t detain Mark from organizing a BMX camp for kids together with Tobi. On this occasion the Dotz teamriders for once let their rims speak instead of their bikes. © David Ulrich
