Canadian Jason Charles Beck, actually jazz-pianist, bursted into the reasonable overlap between hip hop and classic.

Not combinable genres? The 39 year old Canadian, Jason Charles Beck in civil name, is rooted in bebop- and free jazz, in fact he has studied jazz piano in Montreal. ©Alexandre Isard

The utter outrageous attracted him to the point of connecting two total contrary music styles: rap and orchestral pop. ©Denis Lacharme

The Canadian, who always takes the stage in bathrobe and plush slippers, went to prove this at a concert in Viennas Radiokulturhaus just recently to promote the album „The Unspeakable Chilly Gonzales“. While he usually plays with round ten musicians, he got to act out his play instinct with a whole orchestra this time. ©FM4/Pamela Rußmann

He forced the audience to party-tent cheers and also went crowd surfing. The fans shouldered the 1.90 m-guy, who just wanted to know one thing in the end: „Who touched my ass? “ ©FM4/Pamela Rußmann
