Red Bull keeps up the racetrack tradition in Austria: after years of rebuilding, last weekend the re-opening of Spielberg passed off with lots of celebrities and ballyhoo. Dotz played a paparazzo.


In Spielberg, loosely translated as gaming mountain, in the heart of Styria, on 15th of May the Red Bull Ring opened after years of rebuilding – as a successor of the A1 Ring, who just had a brief life.


The most exciting playground in Europe: the centerpiece is the race track including a driving center with slide and driving technique programms. Additional there is a go-kart-track, a rallye dirt road, an obstacle course and a never ending spare time- and gastro-offer. ©Red Bull

But also without engine there was a lot to see. Like Dotz teamriders bmx-pro Senad Grosic and trial-mtb-hero Tom Öhler, who provided some of their tricks to the thousands of spectators.

While Senad was delivering his freestyle,...

...Öhler showed why he actually holds the world high jumping record with the mountainbike.


And, to wind up the happening, some racing legends rounded the freshly asphalted track with formula one cars from yesterday....
