Jazz Williams, the „Lostboy“ of European drift tracks, cruises with his „Diva“, a Nissan Skyline R33, around the sideway-courses. This year the Dotz teamrider will prove his talent – next to heaps of demo- and show-acts – at Scandinavian Drift Series.
Coming to life 1982 in USA, Jazz learned with the International Allstars in California to handle a car in matters of exteme situations. And he was learning with an incredible pace. ©CDT Performance
Within a mere two years Jazz transformed from a newcomer in the drift scene via amateur to pro. And the other drivers got curious, who that flamboyant guy from California is. ©CDT Performance
Jazz signed as a driver with CDT Performance and Dotz also detected the driving potential of the American. 2009 Jazz became a Dotz teamrider. ©lokkydesigns
From this point on it all happened pretty fast. Within his first full year as a pro with IDS series Jazz wasn´t only earning some credits, but he had an impact on the front places immediately. At the end of the year he could place himself within the top ten overall at IDS series. ©CDT Performance
But Jazz is always taking care about some laughs. He is involved with tuning shows, is driving demos and helps – with his show performances as well – to attract a greater audience to drift sports. ©CDT Performance
The other issue: permanently working on his drift-skills. So Jazz is always on the tracks, even he is not at a race. ©CDT Performance
Next to a fifth rank at an IDS race, Jazz was elected „Drift King Nürburgring“ 2009, clinched second place at HIC Hot Import Cars drift competition 2009, won the Tuning Award at Tuning World Bodensee the same year and was invited to a drift performance in front of Stuttgarts mayor. ©lokkydesigns
This is how you meet Jazz: always in good mood mode. The Dotz teamrider will visit Tuning World Bodensee this year again and show the fans the adaption made with his „Diva“. ©CDT Performance
This season Jazz hits the tracks of the north. The Dotz teamrider will compete – next to Stian Jacobsen – at Scandinavian Drift Series. Start of the SD will be the upcoming weekend in Danish Arhus. The series will be featured in Danish TV and with coverage in magazines and online it will reach millions of fans. Round 6.000 drift enthusiasts are expected to witness the Arhus race. ©CDT Performance
