30 years of burn-outs, girls and bling-bling thunderstorm: to mark the legendary anniversary GTI meeting at Lake Wörthersee in Austria, Dotz has launched a special edition of its Mugello.


When Reifnitz calls for the next “GTI-Treffen” June the 1st, it won't just be half of Europe showing off its best tuning examples on the southern banks of Lake Wörthersee – Dotz, too, has a present for the celebration: the special edition Dotz Mugello lake30.


Of course, the lake is the hero for this Mugello, which has a custom finish consisting of red pinstripes and a white outline of the lake on the rim well.


The special edition rim is also on display at the Dotz stand in Reifnitz, fitted to a Polo GTI, which has 200hp thanks to its chip tuning. And for anyone looking for a unique set of wheels to call their own, Dotz still has another set of Mugello lake30 ready…


We are looking for another tuned white Golf from each of the previously launched series (I to VI) to win a set of the special edition wheels. The first Golf, introduced at IAA 1975, presented himself in a decent coverage with the GTI-version empowered by a 110hp 1.6 liter injection engine from Audi. ©VW

Nine years afterwards the next facelift. Adaptions were made at design, chassis and the capacity. ©VW


The Golf IV, introduced 1997 is way bigger than his predecessor. The available interior is significantly larger than the one of the Golf III. ©VW


Six years on the Golf V comes up. The GTI scores 147kw meanwhile.

And in 2008 the sixth issue was presented with a newly shaped front and rear end. ©VW


So, for all, who drive a pimped white Golf, with have a new wheel to give away. The winning car, which will show off its new wheels on the Reifnitz circuit, will also be featured in the Dotz PR.


Each of the best pimped cars that have an entry for the 2011 Lake Wörthersee meeting is invited to take part in the Dotz tuning contest. Simply send us your photos and hope that the Dotz jury chooses your car. Each of the six series winners will get a set of Dotz Mugello lake30 to give them an extra bling-bling factor. The fact that GTIs are given preference for a GTI meeting is part of the game.
