Stadthalle in Vienna became a huge launch pad for hot bikes on two and four wheels last weekend. No less than 13 ramps were built this time. The ninth issue of Masters of Dirt was once again a show of superlative with a lot of new highlights. And Dotz was, as one of the main sponsors, big part of it.

Like the past years world elite of freestylers with fmx, bmx and mountainbike gathered in Vienna. More than three hours of the finest freestyle-action with daredevil stunts was accompanied by a twice sold out Stadthalle. More than 8.000 fans came each day.

Among those was of course Dotz Teamrider Remi Bizouard. Two times fmx world champion, the French, who showed the first 360 last year in Vienna, presented one of his... ©Michael Reidinger

But also without an engine there were a lot of spectacular stunts to see. The bmx pros showed their tricks at two lanes. Like Brett ''Maddog'' Banasiewicz, who delivered a no-hander cashroll into the dirt. ©dotzmag.com

For some extraordinary highlights on bikes the organizers brought a super kicker to the Stadthalle. A first glimpse of the possibilities was shown by superstar Andreu Lacondeguy with a 360. ©Michael Reidinger

For a brief moment the crowd went totally quiet, when the trick of Richard and Ranjer was announced. The two Spaniards showed probably one of the weirdest stunts of the weekend: they were risking their neck, when they made a tandem-backflip on the minibike. ©Michael Reidinger

Masters of Dirt-cosponsor Dotz then took care of the entertainment during the intermission. At the booth there was posing a Toyota Supra of Dotz teamrider Dominik Tiroch with Dotz Tupac 19“. ©Michael Reidinger

Also bmx-pro and Dotz teamrider Senad Grosic came to look after his colleagues. Besides he presented his new signature bikes and was then accompanied by Dotz girls Dani and Steffi. ©Michael Reidinger

For good vibes in the hall was cared for by Dotz teamrider DJ Mosaken. He drove up with his Audi A5 with 19“ Hanzo and delivered his beats during the weekend. ©Michael Reidinger

Ilka Salo then once more took care of a huge moaning in the Stadthalle. The fin only came to Vienna to show his "Body Varial“ – a trick, where he lets go of his bike during the jump, makes a turn around his own axle in the air and then enters his bike again. Of course he earned himself another special applaus for that. See the trick at the video: DOTZ at Masters of Dirt 2011 on this site. ©Michael Reidinger

The bmx and mountainbike-pros meanwhile showed triple whips without end. ©Michael Reidinger

Jon Guetter kept the audience with his quad on the go. Standing ovations also for him after one of his terrific backflips. ©Michael Reidinger

Justin Hoyer also came to Vienna and conjured his tricks with the snowmobile. Next to a superman it was once again his famous backflip. ©Michael Reidinger

But then all was waiting for the biggest highlight of the weekend: Andreu Lacondeguy tried to push himself to double frontflip at the super kicker. A trick which is only managed by two riders worldwide. ©Michael Reidinger

While the first two attempts failed, all good things also for Lacondeguy come in threes and the Spaniard earned himself some standing ovations from the audience and from his freestyle colleagues as well. ©Michael Reidinger
