The ninth and last stop of the Stairset Battle-tour took the floodlighted stage in lower austrias Stuhleck last weekend.

In the middle of lower austrias „Zauberberg“, within the Blue Tomato snowpark, 33 riders were battling for the last entry-spot of the XXL Stairset in Munichs Olympiapark. ©Nike


At Stuhleck, the stair set was embedded right into the middle of the park, which offers up to eight rail-obstacles in one single line – replete with its own cable lift and floodlights for night sessions until 10PM. ©Nike


Once again, the level of riding at this official TTR 2-Star event was incredible. And for added incentive, the final session went down in a “cash for tricks”-format. At the end of the day, the best ten riders divided up the total purse of 2.000 Euro amongst themselves – a sure recipe for a constant barrage of bangers! ©Nike

Third place took Gerald Fuchs, the resposible parkshaper at Stuhleck, with a clean FS Nose and Gap to 50-50 Tap.

Local Shredder Dominik Wagner was second with a BS 180 to Switch 50-50 to Cab 180 to 50-50 and a FS 270 to 270 out on the rail.

And the winner came from Germany: Chris Böhnke convinced the jury with a FS and BS 360s to 50-50 on the rail and a unique BS 360 to 50-50 BS 180 out. Chris ensured himself a ticket for the Nike 6.0 Air & Style 2011 in Munich February 12th. ©Nike
